Morganton Community House

The project involved comprehensive interior and exterior renovations of a two-story, 13,000-square-foot building, including the installation of a new elevator system. The interior space underwent significant changes, including the demolition of the existing floor and interior wall systems. A new wood floor joist and wall-framed system were installed, accompanied by distinctive features such as a barreled ceiling in the lobby and coffer ceiling in the meeting rooms, adorned with wood trim throughout. The finishes showcased a new LVT floor system, carpeting, sprayed acoustic ceiling systems, projector screens, and elegant chandelier lighting. The renovated space now includes updated male and female toilet rooms, meeting rooms on both levels, a bridal room, spacious hosting rooms on the main level, a welcoming lobby area, and functional office spaces. The exterior improvements comprised the installation of new doors and glass block windows, as well as a fresh coat of paint on the building’s exterior.
