Fire Station No. 8

A new fire station facility was constructed, covering an area of 10,000 square feet with two apparatus bays. The building featured a sturdy masonry frame. The interior renovations included the installation of fire suppression, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems. Additionally, new offices, workrooms, fireman gear storage areas, washrooms, training rooms, exercise rooms, bedrooms with furniture, a kitchen/dining area, and toilet and shower facilities were included. The finishes encompassed a range of elements such as LVL floor systems, stained and polished floors, ceramic tiles, acoustic ceiling systems, and well-placed lighting throughout. On the exterior, a storefront window system was implemented, complemented by new metal joists/trusses and a shingle roof system. The site was enhanced with lighting, a concrete paved parking lot, hardscapes, and appealing landscaping.
