Battleground Park – Greensboro Science Center

Battleground Park at the Greensboro Science Center saw a renovation including two new additions. The newly constructed 1,900-square-foot shelter and 900-square-foot restroom facility included various masonry packages coupled with steel structuring and roofing. The shelter is furnished with metal picnic tables, steel framing and roofing, and brick foundations all stationed on a concrete slab connecting to the pedestrian walkways. The restroom includes a brick foundation and framing with a steel roof and decorative metal structures to indicate the facility’s use and the gendered bathrooms. It also sits on a new concrete slab connecting to the thousands of square footage of pedestrian walkways.
